In 1997, after graduating from „Christ For The Nations”, Dallas, Texas, Cornel Bistrian, made his first missionary journey, in his home country of Romania. During his visit in the city of Cluj-Napoca, a well-known local pastor advised Cornel to open a Bible school in town. After two years of prayer and missionary work in Romania, Cornel Bistrian receives a new proposition to launch a Bible school, this time however, from the leaders at CFNI, Dallas. He deemed this last intervention as an answer from God.
In January 2000, three brothers joined Cornel to commence this vision and the school started with fifteen students, in a rented location at club CFR in Cluj. After approximately one year, through the unsolicited generosity of an American couple, long-time friends of CFNI, God blessed the leadership with an old establishment in downtown Cluj-Napoca. God had spoken to them, in 1997, that there should be a bible school in Cluj-Napoca and they are called to support it financially.
As time passed by, the ministry grew and more and more students joined the vision. This growth required a more spacious building. Unaware of this necessity, the same couple hearing the voice of God, returned with another financial contribution. In October 2002, the construction work for a new building, located behind the old one, started. In just one year, the building was finished.
Ever since from the beginning, God put His hand on this ministry and the Holy Spirit manifested with power in the lives of the students. All that hard work was rewarded and many of the students that were just visiting the school were saved and in the end applied as students. Many, were healed, delivered, filled with the Holy Spirit, stirred up and trained for the ministry. Students would get involved in outreaches, different ministries in orphanages, prisons, hospitals, youth camps and plenty of other activities in the surrounding villages.
Christ for Romania was and still is a dwelling place for the presence of God, a mount Zion where people can see the face of God and hear His voice, a place of transformation and equipping for ministry.
We are called to prepare a way for the glory of God, to raise up a people which knows the power of God, not just from history or theology, but also from the daily life lived in an intimate walk with Him.
Our calling above all is to fulfill the great commission given by our Lord Jesus, to make disciples of all nations.
We are called to train efficient ministers for the Kingdom of God, relevant to the contemporary society and ready to give it all up for Him. We want to create a framework where those “hungry and thirsty for righteousness” would be filled up and transformed.
Christ for Romania bible school is a place of restoration, equipping and commissioning.
Christ for Romania is a place where you discover your gifting and your calling, a meeting point with your destiny, where the plans of God are greater than your own and where you will taste the joy of breakthrough together with Him.
We want to promote an authentic, relevant and focused Christianity and to see in Romania, ministers for the Kingdom rising up.
We believe in an outpouring that will break any religious barriers, will go beyond the denominational borders and will release the life of God into His church. We want to be that voice in the wilderness preparing the way of the Lord. We are called to be a focal point of His presence, a holy mountain, a place of training and instruction in righteousness. We have all the resources of God in abundance so that to have a great inheritance.
We want to leave behind a precious testament!
To prepare the leaders God needs, full of the power of the Holy Spirit, who will transform nations for His glory.

Statement of faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
The only way for the salvation of men is through repentance and faith in the atoning death of Christ!
It is absolutely necessary to be born again through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, to be saved.
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to those who ask for it.
We believe in the sanctification ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
